Challenges | We faced difficulty with scheduling events with a local non-profit organization. It was difficult to plan events many months in advance, so we were unable to bring the partnership to fruition. |
Lessons Learned | We learned how invaluable having a wonderful CSL mentor is. With her guidance and strong ties to a fairly insular community, we were able to educate locals who we otherwise may not have been able to impact. |
Success Story | We were able to meet local organization leaders and politicians, including Councilman Manny Pelaez, and speak to them about our project! |
