Call for Student Posters

Students from ALL UT Health Science and affiliated institutions are encouraged to submit poster abstracts describing their Community Service Learning (CSL) projects. CSL projects include: an identified community need, preparation, measurable objectives, a faculty mentor, a partnering community organization, and reflection.

An abstract serves the function to entice individuals to read and review your project findings. The abstracts do not need to be related to the theme of the conference.  Abstracts have a 305 word limit.  For instructions on writing an abstract, click here.  To see a sample abstract click here.

Abstracts will be reviewed by an interprofessional committee for selection.  You will be notified by email within 2 weeks regarding your poster acceptance.  If your abstract is accepted, you will be provided details on uploading your poster with a brief recorded audio presentation to Flipgrid by Jan. 30.  (Instructions will be provided.) and printing guidelines for your poster (which is due Jan. 26). The Poster Session takes place at the Annual CSL Conference on February 5 at UT Health San Antonio.

3 Blue Ribbon winners will be selected from the submitted abstracts. Hidden judges will select the Top 5 Posters as well as the Best IPE Poster. The winner of the “Best of Show” Poster and Best IPE Poster will receive cash prizes.
