Center faculty provide individual and student-group mentorship and role modeling. Additionally, the Center hosts enrichment events throughout the year that feature scholars and subject experts with topics relating to ethical dilemmas, professionalism, coursework and curriculum.

The Center provides continuing education in ethics for health care providers in the community. Regularly scheduled presentations include the Frank Bryant, MD, Memorial Lecture in Ethics, honoring a San Antonio community advocate for the underserved and one of our state’s first African American physicians; RAHC Distinguished Ethics Lecture Series, presented quarterly in Harlingen, Texas; and Conversations About Ethics, a series of ethics discussions presented by the Center for Medical Humanities & Ethics and the Ecumenical Center for Religion and Health through the support of Methodist Healthcare Ministries.
